Watch the progress on the Guinness. The 2002, 35′ Cabo needed some repair work on her generator and a nice fresh bottom paint.  Since the customer bought the boat from South Jersey Yacht Sales based out of Canyon Club he was familiar with the Service Center.

First, the generator needed to be pulled and diagnosed. After careful inspection by tech Tim Allard it was determined there was saltwater intrusion in the exhaust elbow, the stator was burnt (see pics) and it needed a new water pump and heat exchanger. After the new exhaust elbow gets painted to match and some skilled reassembly, the genny is ready to be reinstalled. It gets run out on a beam and carefully reset in place (see pics).

Next she gets wrapped, media blasted, primed and painted with a fresh coat of dark blue, Seahawk Tuff Stuff barrier coat… the process takes just a little longer than the explanation, as is evidenced by all the photos of the process. Mike Hahn’s attention to detail sure pays off with a beautiful finish that will last years to come.
